IMPORTANT – MICRO FOUR THIRDS ADAPTER & COMPATIBILITY
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL OLYMPUS FOUR THIRDS (4/3) LENS.
IT IS NOT A NATIVE MICRO FOUR THIRDS (M4/3) LENS.
A third-party electronic Four Thirds to Micro Four Thirds adapter is included.
The adapter is new and has only been used for testing. This particular lens and adapter combination has been tested by us on an OM System OM-5 Mark II and operated correctly.
However, compatibility, autofocus performance and electronic communication may vary depending on the camera body, lens and firmware.
Please check compatibility with your specific camera model before purchasing.
IMPORTANT WHEN FITTING THE ADAPTER:
There are TWO separate connections which must lock fully into place:
1. Lens to adapter
2. Adapter to camera body
Please make sure BOTH connections are completely engaged. You should hear or feel a distinct CLICK at each connection.
If either connection is not fully locked into place, the electronic contacts may not communicate correctly with the camera.
Although this lens and adapter have been tested and are working correctly with our equipment, we cannot guarantee identical operation with every Micro Four Thirds camera body or firmware combination.
--------------------------------------------------
This is an affordable way to use an original Olympus Four Thirds zoom lens on a compatible Micro Four Thirds camera, with the electronic adapter already included.
The cosmetic marks on the front element have been clearly documented rather than hidden, and both sample photographs and f/22 test images taken with the actual lens are included so that buyers can assess the results for themselves.
Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
You will receive exactly the items shown in the listing photographs.
