This playful and beautifully formed Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Glass Bird Sculptures in Chartreuse & Transparent Glass W/ 24K Gold Flecks originates from Italy, Circa Mid 1960"s.
They feature a transparent organic brach form base with substantial body and elegant curvatures, upon which rest two birds rendered in a striking hue of chartreuse with 24K Gold Flecks strewn throughout, referencing the natural iridescence of feathers and drawing the eye to the birds for longer appreciation, noticing the details of the posture and positioning, subtly unique on each of the sculptures.
