For sale is an original, vintage Habitat Radius Audio Visual / Hi-Fi cabinet, designed by the award-winning Simon Pengelly for Habitat in the early 2000s.
This is a beautiful, highly collectible piece of furniture that features the signature Radius detailing—including the rounded solid oak corners, legs, and traditional bridle joints on the upper edges.
Features a clever "flipper/pocket door" mechanism for the top section: the front oak panel pulls out slightly, tilts up, and smoothly glides back into the unit to reveal the upper media shelf. Perfect for housing media equipment, audio systems, records, or general living room storage.
Dimensions (Approximate): [Please insert the Width x Height x Depth in cm here if you have a tape measure!]
Condition: Overall good, sturdy, and clean condition. The sliding door mechanism and internal shelves work perfectly. There is some water staining/marking on the flat top surface (please see photos for reference). Because this is a high-quality solid oak and heavy veneer piece, the top could easily be sanded back and re-lacquered or oiled by a buyer to restore it to mint condition.
Collection Only: Strictly collection in person only from [Leeds LS13]. The unit is solid wood, very well-made, and heavy—you will need an appropriately sized vehicle and a couple of people to lift it.
