This exquisite antique Julius Dressler majolica cachepot is in excellent vintage condition with vibrant, glossy polychrome glazes and crisp, high-relief molding throughout. The exterior features stunning figural portrait medallions titled Madrid Murillo and Madrid Raffael alternating with dramatic stylized lion masks and intricate Art Nouveau scrollwork. Inspection reveals only a minor, stable 2-3mm flake along the inner gold-washed rim edge and expected age-appropriate interior crazing consistent with historical use, with no cracks, structural hairlines, or major chips. The unglazed base clearly displays the authentic circular JD factory ink stamp, the impressed mold number E031, and the curved Czechoslovakia country of origin export mark.
