A truly exceptional vintage skirt by AnnaBelinda of Oxford, created in beautifully fluid silk with a subtle lustrous sheen.
The striking abstract design combines rich rust, muted sage and forest green, ochre, claret and charcoal. Beneath the print is an exquisite woven floral jacquard that becomes visible as the silk catches the light, giving the fabric wonderful depth and texture.
The skirt has a neat fitted waistband and falls into a long, fluid and generously unfitted silhouette. Narrow dark-brown satin trim finishes the waistband and hemline. Two fabric-covered buttons and loops sit above the discreet side zip. The skirt is fully lined in smooth brown satin.
The fabric is quite extraordinary. The bold abstract design provides immediate impact, while the delicate floral jacquard woven into the silk reveals itself on closer inspection. The rich autumnal palette and beautiful satin finishing make this a wonderfully individual vintage piece.
