The USB-C M.2 NVMe PCI-Express SSD enclosure from StarTech.com provides a high-performance external storage solution. It enables you to transform your M.2 NVMe SSD into a highly portable drive, perfect for USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 enabled devices. With the SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, it delivers read and write speeds of up to 10Gbps, ensuring rapid data transfers.
This enclosure is compatible with M.2 NGFF M-Key PCI-Express SSD drives, supporting common sizes including 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280. Enhanced performance is ensured with UASP support and TRIM 4Kn functionality. Please note that it is not compatible with M.2 SATA or AHCI-based SSDs, and Windows 7 and earlier versions do not support TRIM and UAS for USB storage devices.
Built for durability, the solid aluminium fanless enclosure features an internal thermal pad for maximum heat dissipation. Its IP67 rated housing offers excellent protection, being both dustproof and water resistant. The fanless design ensures silent operation, making it ideal for quiet environments.
The enclosure is OS independent, requiring no software or drivers for installation. It comes complete with a USB-C cable, standoff, screwdriver, and user guide, providing everything needed for setup. The enclosure itself measures 14 x 45 x 105mm (H x W x D), with a weight of 248 grams.
