The TP-Link Omada AX3000 WiFi 6 Gigabit DSL Gateway (ER706W) is an enterprise-grade dual-band wireless router designed to deliver high-performance connectivity and comprehensive security for business networks. Equipped with the latest WiFi 6 technology, it provides combined dual-band wireless speeds of up to 574Mb/s on the 2.4GHz band and 2402Mb/s on the 5GHz band. Triple external antennas extend and concentrate WiFi signals, ensuring extensive coverage throughout large-scale environments.
Connectivity and VPN Support
This gateway offers versatile connectivity with one Gigabit SFP WAN/LAN port, one Gigabit WAN port, and four Gigabit WAN/LAN ports to support various internet access requirements. An integrated USB 3.0 port supports 3G/4G wireless adaptors for WAN backup, as well as USB flash storage devices. For secure remote administration, the router supports and manages multiple VPN protocols, including SSL, IPSec, PPTP/L2TP, and OpenVPN, accommodating up to 50 SSL, 100 IPSec, 50 L2TP/PPTP, and 55 OpenVPN tunnels.
Centralised Management and Security
Seamlessly integrating into the Omada SDN platform, the gateway enables centralised management and intuitive configuration via the Omada app for both standalone and controller modes. It is compatible with Omada access points to create a scalable mesh network, featuring captive portal configuration and Zero-Touch provisioning (requiring an Omada cloud-based controller). Comprehensive security features include multi-WAN load balancing, IP-based bandwidth control, firewall protection, VLAN support, automatic DoS defence, and WPA/WPA2/WPA3 personal and enterprise encryption.
