Up for auction I have a stanley bailey # 4 1/2 plane. smooth bottom No cracks in the handles. The bottom looks good no rust or pitting from what i can see. the throat looks good no chips. The lateral adjuster works. It says stanley made in the usa on the iron and behind the frog. I believe this is a type 15. the only issue i can see is there is some chips on the toe of the plane but i was told that won't hurt the use of the plane. I would say it has about 70 % of the japanning left to the plane. Other wise this is a very good condition user plane or start a collection.

Packaging has sky rocketed  and also shipping prices have gone up again with usps The bigger the box and the weight the shipping will be more if i you end up paying way to much for shipping i will refund the difference its hard to know how much shipping will be  without knowing certain things
