• Small eight-day timepiece in lantern-clock style case (Nell Gwynne pattern).  Features distinctive arched/domed top with a small finial, an engraved brass face, Roman numerals, and an ornate pierced dolphin fretwork crest .
• Has key.

Markings: 

• FRONT - On outer dial on bottom " 8 Day".  Inner dial base " Made in Great Britain"
• BACK - On door to mechanism "Made in Great Britain"   On inside of door to mechanism "Made in GT Britain Smiths English Clocks Ltd".   NOTE  Item with "Smiths English Clocks Ltd" typically point to the period before 1955.
• INSIDE: On inner clock case "Smiths Made in England".

• Approx. size. 18.5cm to top of finial. 7.25cm square base.
• Weighs 636 grams
