Antique 15ct Rose Gold Double Albert Watch Chain – 40.12g – 19" – Vintage Box
A beautiful and substantial antique 15ct rose gold double Albert pocket watch chain, weighing 40.12 grams and measuring approximately 19 inches overall from clip to clip when fully extended.
A particularly attractive traditional double Albert with warm antique rose/red gold colouring, twin curb-link chains, T-bar and two swivel clips.
The T-bar is clearly marked 15ct, with a further original fitting also marked 15. The unmarked links have also been tested using an XRF analyser and test as 15ct gold, confirming the main chain is 15ct throughout.
The chain has a lovely consistent warm rose-gold colour typical of antique 15ct jewellery and has a substantial feel in the hand.
As is quite common with antique Albert chains that have been worn and used over many decades, there are some historic repairs and replacement components. One swivel clip is a later 9ct gold replacement, and a connecting ring is clearly marked 375 (9ct). These later components have a slightly yellower colour and are clearly shown in the photographs.

The box complements the chain beautifully and makes an excellent display and storage piece. It shows age-related wear and staining to the interior, as photographed.
The box is not known to be original to this particular Albert chain and is included for presentation and storage.
