as i have said we have owned this car for 26 years buying it from original purchaser; it was used daily for 16 years traveling 3 miles or so each way to work, 14 years on i had to replace fuel tank & filler neck,i alos took the opp while the axle was out to replace everything, powder coated rear axle, anti roll bar, brake backplates,replaced rear shocks & springs,all rubber bushes,top shock mounts,replaced rear wheel bearings,wheel cylinders, brake shoes,brake drums,flexi hoses, then ran it for  another 2 years when we got another car, so it has been of the road from 2016 till 2026 during the months leading up to the present mot i did a full rebuild on the front of the car as follows,removed all suspension and had steering knuckles &anti roll powder coated, replaced steering tie bars & track rod ends,ball joints,new wheel bearings,new discs pads,flexi hoses ,2 new bilstein b4 shocks, original break calipers where refurbed boiled in something to remove all oil out of them then powder coated,rebuilt with new pistons and seals better than new, i have also changed the cam belt & tensioner, water pump, changed allf luids gearbox oil, engine oil, coolant, air filter,fuel filter, spark plugs, ht leads {NGK} ,set timming, i ever took dash out and fitted new lcd clock, so as far as i can say this has had a full mechanical rebuild and would be very happy to saY IT IS MECHCANICALLY SOUND and would  be prepaired to go anywhere in it as it drives lovely, had to renew rear brakes again this year as the cylinders a seized after10 years so replaced them and the shoes due to it failing mot on rear brakes also included in the sale is loads of spares to much to list but things like lights front & rear, carburettor bits front bumper rear spoiler and more.
