Adorable mixed lot of 9 vintage white porcelain Persian-style cat and kitten figurines. Mostly blue eyes, pink noses/ears, detailed textured fur, and a glossy finish. Various cute poses (sitting, standing, lying on back, etc.). A couple wear original colored bows (peach and light blue).

Makers / Marks

• Majority are Lefton (Japan) – several still have the original red/gold foil stickers (“Lefton’s Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Exclusive Japan”) and impressed numbers such as 1513 / 1514

• A couple are Homco (Home Interiors)

Condition

Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. No original boxes. Light age-appropriate wear and some residual sticker residue on the bases only. All pieces are clean, solid, and display beautifully.

Perfect starter or addition to a cat figurine collection, Lefton/Homco/Napco collection, or mid-century / kitschy décor display. Looks wonderful grouped together on a shelf or in a cabinet.

Lefton pieces (the majority, with #1513 / #1514 and the red/gold foil stickers)These were made in Japan in the 1950s to early/mid-1960s.

The specific “Lefton’s Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Exclusive Japan” foil sticker is characteristic of that mid-century period (roughly 1953–mid-1960s).

Production of these styles largely ended when Lefton shifted manufacturing away from Japan in the 1970s.

Homco pieces (the couple with the bows)These (especially the popular #1428 style white kittens with peach or blue bows) were made in the 1980s, typically in Taiwan.

Napco piece

Most similar Napco white Persian-style cats/kittens were produced in Japan during the 1950s–1960s.
