Authentic vintage 12-inch Hasbro G.I. Joe figure featuring dark flocked “Life-Like Hair,” hard plastic hands and the early fully articulated body. The right hip/buttock is marked “G.I. Joe® Copyright 1966 By Hasbro, Patent No. 3,277,602, Made in U.S.A.” Based on the flocked hair and early body style, this figure is believed to date from approximately 1969 to the early 1970s.

CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES:

• Original olive-green G.I. Joe jacket tagged Hong Kong

• Original brown/olive G.I. Joe pants tagged Japan

• No pistol or weapon included

The jacket and pants are genuine tagged G.I. Joe pieces, but they are from different production runs and do not form a matching original uniform. The jacket is later Hong Kong production, while the pants are earlier Japan production. Colors differ from age, production variation and wear.

CONDITION AND FLAWS:

• Jacket shows fading, fraying, loose threads and general fabric wear, loose snap

• Feet appear to have been reassembled on opposite sides—the large toes point outward rather than inward

• Reversed feet suggest that the figure may have been disassembled or repaired previously

• Body has age-related scuffs, scratches, marks and discoloration

• Light surface scratching is visible on the feet

• Small opening/mark is visible at the front base of the neck

• Metal joint hardware shows normal age and wear

• Flocked hair shows age-related wear; please inspect photographs closely
