Ring RTC4000 Cordless Digital Tyre Inflator – Partially Faulty Battery

Ring Automotive RTC4000 digital tyre inflator / air compressor.

Please note that this unit has a faulty internal rechargeable battery.

The battery does not charge and the inflator cannot be used cordless.

However, the unit has been tested using its 12V vehicle power cable and works correctly when connected directly to a car cigarette lighter / 12V accessory socket.

Important fault information

The internal rechargeable Li-ion battery is faulty and does not charge.

The inflator should therefore be considered a 12V corded tyre inflator unless the battery is repaired or replaced.

When connected to a vehicle 12V socket, the compressor, display and LED light have all been tested and are working.
