The rounded body is decorated with an elaborate dark scroll-pattern background accented by colorful flowers in turquoise blue, pink, green, red, white, and yellow. Fine metal wirework creates an impressive amount of detail throughout the piece.

The removable domed lid features a particularly attractive pierced/openwork floral design, allowing incense smoke to escape, and is topped with a decorative flower/bud-shaped finial. The piece is finished with brass-toned trim around the opening, lid, and base.
