 WHAT WILL I RECEIVE

You will receive one (1) mixed packet of labelled seeds. 30 seeds per packet.

Our native Australian plants are special and we all need to protect them and do what we

can as gardeners to grow more of them with and help them to survive.

Many native animals will also use these plants, including marsupials, birds, insects,

lizards and frogs. Provides excellent, dense cover and habitat for native wildlife,

 particularly seed-eating birds like finches.

The urbanisation of our unique bush land forests and wanton unchecked development

is putting pressure on all our native species.

Please help our wildlife by growing some native Australian plants.

Fast growing and hardy perennial, ideal around water courses, banks, rockeries and

suited also to containers in formal outdoor areas.  Used for bush regeneration, erosion

 control and soil stabilisation.

Great for any planting situation and tolerates even marginal soils and

grows well in full sun or complete shade.

What's in the seed packet

You will receive 30 fresh seeds.

NOTE: Seeds respond well to a smoked sterile vermiculite/perlite mix, which also acts as

a natural fungicide and is beneficial for germination of all species.

Chemicals in the ash break seed dormancy and acts as a natural fungicide.

Germination within 4 - 8 weeks in warm weather or months depending on planting season.

Vermiculite mixes are a great sterile potting media for seeds and can be further

improved by adding other sterile materials such as perlite, pumice, sharp sand,

diatomaceous earth, shell grit and charcoal.

We have a range of sterile mixed potting media products available in our store and they

are worth considering for your next seed growing project.

Germination may take anywhere from 4 - 8 weeks and best planted in spring/summer.

Seed are best sown using sterile potting media in very shallow trays to avoid overwatering and planted shallow to the depth of the seed. Seeds need to be kept moist at all times and protected from heat/heavy rain in a stable environment.

Seed growing is an advanced form of gardening and requires a lot of preparation, observation and monitoring on a daily basis and you need to take into consideration every small detail from the size of the pot/tray used to the potting medium, which should be really be sterile, down to how deep the seeds are planted and where the seeds are to be kept during germination and how often they are looked after.

To grow seeds properly you need to put in the effort. Read and research prior to planting. The seed is not going to go anywhere. Don't rush and plan properly. Keep a diary too. Make a note of the date planted, weather conditions, everything you can which can be helpful to diagnose germination issues.

Sellers provide a quality product, and the rest of the 99% is really up to you. Please don't blame sellers who have no influence on the end product.
