For sale is an authentic, antique "Maidstone School Orchestra Association" full-size (4/4) violin outfit. Complete with its original vintage wooden case and bow.

Dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century, this historic outfit is a wonderful time-capsule piece of British music education history. It is an ideal restoration project for a luthier, a hobbyist, or an attractive rustic display piece.

CRITICAL CONDITION NOTES (Please Read Before Bidding/Buying):

- Violin Body: The main body, book-matched maple back plate, and neck joint are structurally sound with no visible splits or cracks.

- Internal Label: The original paper "Maidstone" logo illustration label is fully intact and clearly visible through the f-hole (see photos).

- Setup Needed: The instrument is missing its strings, bridge, tailpiece, and chinrest. It is being sold strictly as-is for parts or restoration.

- Bow: The original bow is included, but the wood tip at the head is broken/damaged, the tip plate is missing, and the hair is loose. It is included purely as a historic display item or for parts.

- Case: Features the original cast metal "Maidstone" badge on the exterior. The wooden "coffin style" case shows honest historical surface wear, scratches, and patina consistent with age.
