Vallejo Premium is a range of acrylic paints specifically designed for airbrushing and for optimal adhesion to surfaces such as fiberglass, polyethylene, polycarbonate, metal and Lexan. Vallejo Premium is formulated with permanent pigments and a new, extremely durable acrylic-polyurethane hybrid resin. The premium range includes matt and opaque, transparent, metallic and fluorescent colors as well as the specific varnishes and auxiliary materials of the product line. Particularly recommended for painting motorcycle helmets, fuel tanks, surfboards and similar surfaces subject to heavy wear, Premium resists impact and cracking as well as direct heat. The premium colors are resistant to fuel residues (as used in RC) up to at least 35% Nitro.

It is recommended to apply Premium in successive coats on previously primed surfaces. A few hours after application, the premium colors form a homogeneous film of exceptional strength and resistance. The recommended compressor settings are around 15-20 PSI, o 0.5 to 1 kg. For a final, extra durable protection, a final (2K) urethane varnish is recommended (applied with aerosol or airbrush). Painting tools can be cleaned with water.
