Three-tier (stacking) red lacquer sakazuki cup set with gold maki-e turtle motif on the interior. Estimated early–mid Showa period. Sizes: Large Ø approx. 10.5 cm × H 3.5 cm; Medium Ø approx. 9.5 cm × H 3.0 cm; Small Ø approx. 8.5 cm × H 2.5 cm. Red lacquer shows a deep sheen typical of older lacquerware. Original box included (shows age-related dirt and scuffs). Some peeling to gold rims visible (see photos).
