WW1 Military Compass Made By F. BARKER &,Son, of London.
The compass appears to be solid brass with joints made by soldering or with small screws
I can find no name or date on the compass, only the makers name on the back.
Inside it has what appears to be a mother of pearl floating ring and what looks like a home made
disc with the four cardinal points of the compass, N,S,E & W marked on it, attached to the floating disc.
presumably to make it easier to read.
Everything appears to work as it should.
I can post it or it can be collected from New Brighton, Wallasey

good luck
