For OEM Ratio, 15t Ft. Sprocket, 47t Rear Sprocket (Request oem 15/47t Ratio during check out in the "Add Message" Tab) Original Factory Supplied OEM size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, with reasonable high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration.
For QUICK ACCELERATION 14/47t (-1t/oem) gear ratio kit DEFAULT for this listing (Quicker off the line, quicker roll on's, easier wheelies),14t (-1t) front sprocket and a 47t rear . The -1 tooth front sprocket change will make your bike quicker, and still uses the stock length chain. If you ever want to go back to oem gear ratio, you can bolt up a stock 16t with the same chain supplied with this QA kit. *Your top gear cruising rpm's will be higher, and your top speed will be lower with this quick acceleration kit.
For FREEWAY GEARING 16/47t (+1t/oem) gear ratio kit (lower top gear cruising rpm's, higher top speed), Request a 16t (+1t) front sprocket and a stock 47t rear sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab. Your top gear cruising rpm's at high mph will be lower than oem gearing. Top Speed will be higher.
Teeth and Sizes Explained...** A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket change. (Quick Acceleration)** A -2t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +6t rear sprocket change (Very Extreme Quick Acceleration change)** A +1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same as a -3t rear only change with stock front sprocket. (Freeway Gearing)
** A 520 size chain is approx. 2mm narrower than a 525 chain, and 4mm narrower than a 530 chain. Less mass equals lighter weight equals easier to spin, but the ratio (teeth size) change makes the big difference. The sprocket width matches the chain width where it rides on the sprockets, thus a 520 chain must use 520 sprockets, and a 525 chain must use 525 sprockets, etc...

** A larger or smaller rear sprocket number of teeth size requires a different chain length, however +1 or -1 tooth on the front sprocket only will use the same as oem chain length

Half the Power Loss (Compared with Normal O-Ring) X-Ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed. Normal O-Rings and other makers’ modified O-Rings have squashed points that increase friction. The twisting action of the X-Ring disperses the pressure and minimizes power loss.
1.5 to 2 Times Longer Wear Resistance (Compared with Normal O-Ring) The X-Ring’s four contact points greatly increase its sealing performance. This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-Ring.
X-Rings have the greatest wear resistance of any other type of O-Ring or Non-O-Ring chain
