The Rukka Explore-R trousers are a top-of-the-range AA-rated adventure garment featuring a 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro laminated membrane, abrasion-resistant Cordura 1500D reinforcements, and D3O Air XTR protection. The main body of the trousers is constructed from high-tech aramid fibre and Cordura textile, laminated with a 100% waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer membrane for total weather protection. the trousers also feature Rukka's Air Cushion System at the seat which acts as a thin air cushion under the buttocks for comfort and to reduce perspiration. Stretch panels on the back, crotch, inner thigh, and above and below the knees of the trousers provide a lot of freedom of movement, whilst the adjustable tabs on the bottom of the leg, and waist belt allow you to customise your fit. Ventilation openings can be found at the front and back of the thighs to allow cool air inside the trousers and to circulate your lower body. In regards to protection, the Explore-R is equipped with Rukka's patented CE level 2 D3O Air XTR protectors at the hips and knees for phenomenally comfortable, impact protection. Additionally, the trousers feature 1500 denier Cordura reinforced fabric, overlayed at the hips and knees for superior abrasion and tensile strength during slides. A long connection zip allows you to combine the Explore-R with any accompanying Rukka jacket (including the Explore-R jacket) to form a one-piece suit.
