Rolex Submariner Date 16610 – Z Serial – 2007 – Original Goldsmiths Receipt

For sale is a superb example of the Rolex Submariner Date 16610, supplied new in the UK by Goldsmiths in December 2007.

This is a particularly nice watch for anyone looking for an original, well-kept 16610, and it comes with excellent provenance. The original purchase receipt from Goldsmiths is present, showing the watch was purchased in December 2007 for approximately £2,000. The watch has had just one owner from new and has seen very little wrist time.

The watch is in excellent condition throughout, with very little wear for its age. The Oyster bracelet remains exceptionally tight with virtually no stretch, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find on these watches.

This is a Z2 serial example, making it one of the very last 16610s produced before Rolex introduced the engraved rehaut. For collectors of the classic pre-engraved-rehaut Submariners, this makes the Z2 examples particularly interesting.

The watch retains its original black dial, hands and aluminium bezel insert and presents exactly as you would hope from a well-preserved, lightly worn example.

A lovely one-owner 16610 with genuine UK provenance, original purchase receipt and excellent overall condition. These later 16610s are becoming increasingly sought after, particularly when accompanied by the original paperwork and such little wear.
