Welcome to the sale of this splendid vintage anglepoise desk lamp. 

This earlier Herbert Terry 1227 anglepoise would date from the 1940's or early 50's. It has had a lot of time spent on it and has been restored (not by me) back to almost new. It has had its aluminium arms, tuning fork and fittings polished to a high finish, with the shade painted yellow and the base in black. It has been rewired with a new bulb holder and fabric cable. Normally I don't like restored lamps but this one has been done so well and the colour shows it's not trying to be original that I'm happy to own it (for now). 

In good condition commensurate with its age and use. Please have a good look at the photographs as they form part of the description and contact me if you have any further questions.

The lamp measures (in cm as per first pic)  60 tall, 45 wide and 15 (base). It weighs 4kg

 I offer free delivery on many of our items, however delivery shown is for the UK mainland only. There will be a surcharge for some addresses in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles and the Highlands and islands of Scotland. You are more than welcome to collect or I can deliver locally if needed.
