Each with tears or are tearing & one is torn in 1/2

Seven Medical staff sent to the 

25th Regiment Illinois Volunteer InfantryHospital Dept

at a camp near Bowling Green

9/1/1862-10/31/1862

Under Surgeon Joesph Blount

Inspected & signed by Mustering Officer Lt Colonel JS McClelland(?)

I have not searched their names in the Civil War database

Claude M Temple

The musters require archival tape

They are nearly identical in content

on the front page

Dated 8/28/ 1861

Confederate states employed "Commissioners" 

 to purchase supplies from local farmers

Commisioners:

WC Hazen

AG Thomas

BC Totten

Purchased a saddle for $22.00

A bridle for $3.00 from E A Sharp

signed by William Goodrum

& if I am correct Goodrum would serve as Captain 

in the Confederate Army making his signature quite valuable 

as Confederate signatures are less common 

& that is if he is one in the same

Civil War Daft 1863

Certificate of Non-Liability tby the Board of Enrollment

September 23, 1863,

Daniel Cross of Chemung County  NY exempt from military duty 

under the Enrollment Act of March 3 1863 

He provided satisfactory evidence he was not properly subject 

to military duty as required by said act by reason of 

non-residence and therefore is exempt from military duty 

for the term of the present draft
