This is a Cardboard box with reproduction of a
colorful painting of a variety of legal and illegal drugs, from alcohol and
tobacco to marijuana and LSD, opiates and amphetamine. SEE PHOTOS
Measures 17-1/2 x 15 x 1-1/2 inches.
CONTENTS:
6 printed booklets each of 4 pages punched for 3-hole binder,
6 boxed audiotape cassettes,
6 filmstrips in plastic cases.
The tapes and film are keyed to the text printed in the booklets, which together serve as teaching aids for classroom studies.
Also included is a 12-inch wooden ruler with text:
DRUGS .. NO WAY! COUNT ON ME TO BE DRUG-FREE
printed in red on a yellow background. (This may not have been included in the kit and came from another anti-drug source, but clearly from same period).
The contents are complete despite three empty cassette slots, as the tapes (double sided, with two drug lectures on each side for a total of six, matching the number of booklets and film strips.
This rare original boxed kit with materials warning students of Junior and Senior High of the dangers of recreational drugs is a vintage artifact that authorities wildly distributed to schools.
