The Film Profile: The plot follows a cybernetic assassin, the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), sent back in time from a war-torn 2029 to 1984 Los Angeles. His mission is to eliminate Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose unborn son will one day lead humanity's resistance against the self-aware artificial intelligence network, Skynet. Meanwhile, human soldier Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) is sent back to protect her at all costs.
