Measure "Across Flats" (AF): Take a precise measurement of the flat tab or square/rectangular stem width on your valve stem.
Check the Diameter: Ensure you note the spindle shape and dimensions.

Square vs. Rectangular: Double-check your shape! A square key will only fit a square stem.
Tight Clearances: Standard keys feature a 50mm lug span. A compact 30mm span option is available for narrow gaps.
NOT FOR SEIZED VALVES: While these tools are heavily reinforced, 3D-printed plastic cannot un-seize a corroded or stuck metal valve. If your valve is completely seized, it must be freed up or replaced mechanically before using this balancing tool.
