Computer casing has been reconditioned. Case fully structurally sound. :) Please read and see pics

This was an 800 sent to me in the post which arrived with damage to the casing. Damage was pretty extensive and it took ages to fix. The seller had unfortunately made a very poor effort in packaging it up for it's journey, which was very frustrating when it arrived.

I fixed the damage by gluing the broken case back together, and using filler it further patched it up, sanding it and then respraying the case. Looks far better than when it arrived!  :)

Only one tiny hidden part of the casing under the cart bay door on the left side of the top casing has a small single piece of missing plastic venting. (See 5th to last pic). This is totally hidden when the cart bay assembly is on. 

Fixing these is better than throwing the casing away. I've reduced the price to account for this.

Atarimax maxflash 8mbit (1MB) cart is brand new and shipped over from the USA. It has had a 1MB game flashed to it, and enables said 1MB game to play on this 48k 800 because the cart uses a banked ram technique. Game is a 2016 classic by the legend that is Playsoft.

My costs are also based on the initial amount of money I had to pay to buy the machine itself, and the costs of the new Atarimax maxflash 8mbit (1MB) flashcart shipped from the USA, the AV composite cable, new modern 9VAC PSU, joystick, time, etc.

Note: Last two pics show the colour of spray paint used to respray the casing post fix. Not like the stock 800 colour. It's a warmer, sandy colour. I personally like this and use it all the time for respraying these damaged casings, (and sometimes for spraying 800 casings which are terribly yellowed with age). I also applies really well to the casing IMHO.

Note: RF cable removed as redundant given this is with an AV composite Din5 to RCA cable. No-one opts to use RF over AV composite. :)

** Atarimax maxflash carts are great. They can be reused and reflashed, you can create multigame menus on them, and for games that support it, you can save score, progress, etc etc. 
Note: to flash them you need a special Atarimax maxflash cart flasher/programmer, the maxflash studio software and a PC. Or, if a game supports it, you can actually use you Atari and an SIO2PCUSB to flash them, (for example the game Flob uses Sio2pcusb, your PC and the Atari itself to flash the game to the cart. Flob is a great game and you can save progress, achievements, scores, unlocked worlds, etc to the cart. (Googling for Flob Atari 8bit for more details). 

Cart flasher/programmer unit not included in this sale.
