Here is a very nice pair of miniature Staffordshire figurines produced in Chelsea, England during the late 19th century.  One woman is carrying a basket of fruit while the other appears to be carrying a napkin or paper and gesturing while communicating.  Each is colorfully decorated with the base adorned with gold gilt. On the back base of each, a gold anchor mark can be viewed.  The woman with the basket stands approximately 3 3/4” tall with the other woman slightly shorter in height.  I have looked each over and can find only one minute flake on the back of the open hand of the woman carrying the paper of which I have included a picture.  The coloring of both appears intact, I will not rule out minor loss due to age and handling.  The two are selling as one lot and will be shipped together.  Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.
