Perhaps one of the most attractive as well as successful lines the Hull Pottery Co of Ohio produced in the late 1940s was called bow-knot. Produced in a number of shapes including vases, tea sets, baskets and a wall plate in pastel colors of pink and sky blue. The pattern has delicate florals emanating from the base usually circled by ribbon with a bow. This attractive example would be considered one of the larger vases with a catalog/size number B11-10 1/2. Also visible on the bottom in raised lettering: Hull Art USA. The vase measures 10 3/4” at the tallest with the top opening spanning 6 3/4” by 5 1/2”. In factory original condition showing no damages or repairs whatsoever. The vase is extremely clean on the inside showing no residue from use. I did notice some extremely light crazing in the glaze on the outside especially visible in the background but none of which is stained or prominent. An absolutely beautiful striking piece for the sunroom. Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.
Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting numerous find examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future.
Thank you.
