The renowned glass company, Northwood, has been known to produce some of the nicest and most collectible glass in history. Known to create assorted types and styles, carnival glass stands out as most likely their most popular. The company produced numerous patterns in many assorted colors and shapes including a number of novelty items typically found in gift shops. One such example was known as the bushel basket shape. This design came in the round and a variant eight sided shape produced during the second decade of the 20th century. This nice eight sided pastel white bushel basket has a frosted iridescence with faint marigold highlights especially visible in the pictures taken in natural outdoor light.  The basket stands 4 1/4” to the top of the outstretched handle and 6” from handle to handle.  In decent shape with the only post factory flaw a very minor chip on the tiny extension on the back of one of the feet. I have included a picture with this listing. I also included pictures of the handles and will not rule out minor straw marks/anneal lines common with these novelties produced by Northwood.  Due to the forementioned issue, I am listing this item in auction format with a low starting bid.
