This single bowl is from this era. The Fostoria glass company marketed their well known and popular elegant glass line American from the mid 1930s through the early 1980s.  This dish could serve for a number of different uses such as dip for chips, condiment or mayonnaise bowl. It stands just under 3” tall and measures 6” diameter across the top.  I find no damage or repairs to this item, no staining or residue on the inside from use.
