Numerous companies during the last quarter of the 19th into the early 20th century marketed versions of the opalescent swirl design. Northwood introduce their design during the 1890s as this style gained traction in the marketplace.  Produced in a number of color combinations, this pattern sold in numerous table wares including pitcher sets.  The rubina color blend incorporated cranberry and clear glass highlighting the white opaque swirling lines in the glass. This tumbler stands 3 3/4” tall and spans 2 3/4” diameter across the top. As several pictures reveal, this glass has chipping/2 heat checks on the rim. I know the chips can be fixed so I am selling this example in the auction format with a low starting bid.  The damage is all at the rim with no other issues to report.  I will mention I have a pair of these tumblers selling them individually.
