A lovely Demoss set including a cup and matching saucer. Both items are marked and I believe the set originated from Europe possibly Austria, produced during the middle part of the 20th century. Both cup and saucer have transfer scenes of a courting couple in what appear to be colonial attire. Alternating panels have gold tracery of a rose. The cup measures 2 3/8” tall and 2 1/2” diameter across the top. The matching saucer spans 4 3/4” across. Both items are in factory original condition showing no damage or repairs. I will mention and most likely visible in the pictures the gold has worn in several areas including a spot or two on the saucer rim but for the most part remains intact. The portraits on both items also appear in very good excellent shape, however, I will not rule out some minor wear from use. A wonderful set ready for display. Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.
Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting numerous fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future.
Thank you.
