Item Condition
Used - powers on, display and basic key/menu operation confirmed; RLU measurement not verified (no control rods or in-date swabs).
Used unit in average cosmetic condition for its age, with no noticeable abnormalities within the range visible in the photographs. The sample chamber lid opens and closes smoothly with no play, and the battery compartment shows no corrosion, leakage or verdigris. The rear label is intact and legible, and the battery compartment warranty seal is present and untorn. Please note that actual RLU measurement performance could not be verified in-house, so this unit is offered as an unverified-measurement item.
Operation Check
Power on confirmed and the display lights up (the whitish mottled appearance on the LCD surface was reported by our operator as the protective film). Basic operation confirmed: the star key opens the menu and steps through entries 1 to 11, the up and down keys increase and decrease the program number, the Memory function recalls previously stored data, and the unit returns to the normal standby screen. The main screen shows the standby indication with Prog:0 and upper and lower limit values displayed. The keys we actually exercised were power, star, up and down; the OK, P and i keys were not individually tested. RLU measurement itself was NOT performed: we do not have a Calibration Control Rod Kit (PCD4000) in stock and the supplied UltraSnap swabs are past their expiry date, so no meaningful light-emission test could be carried out. Auto standby behaviour, the pass/fail judgement display, self-test menu items, software options and firmware were also not verified. This is a V.2 unit with the PC Coms port, and a Mini-USB cable can be inserted; our operator reported that a PC recognised the unit and displayed data over USB, but no screen evidence was recorded, so please treat USB communication as unconfirmed. The internal clock is running but the displayed date appears to be offset by a long period, which may indicate a depleted internal backup battery or simply an unset clock.

The Hygiena SystemSURE Plus is a handheld, single-tube ATP luminometer used for rapid hygiene monitoring and surface cleanliness verification in food production, catering, healthcare and other sanitation-critical environments. It reads adenosine triphosphate (ATP) bioluminescence from a swab inserted into the sample chamber and reports the result in Relative Light Units (RLU) on its LCD, with programmable pass/caution/fail limits and internal memory for stored results. This V.2 version has a PC Coms port for transferring data to a computer. Consumable ATP swabs are required for actual testing and are not supplied in usable condition with this unit.
