Offered for sale is an authentic 18th-century antique book: The Abbey of Kilkhampton; or, Monumental Records for the Year 1980, published in London by G. Kearsly in 1780. This is the Fifth Edition, with considerable additions.

Physical Description: Features characteristic period marbled paper boards with a leather spine. The book measures approximately 8 inches by 6.5 inches (based on visual scale). Includes handwritten vintage inscription "Amelia Hoyd 1781" on the top margin of the title page.

Condition: Antique/Fair to Good condition given its age of over 240 years. The binding shows wear, rubbing, and edge chipping along the spine and boards. A wonderful piece of satirical Georgian literature for collectors of rare and antique books.
