The Alcatel-Lucent 8135s is a SIP conference phone for meeting rooms, sold by ALE as part of the OmniTouch range under part number 3MG08015AA. It uses OmniSound HD audio with a 360 degree omnidirectional microphone, automatic echo cancellation and noise suppression, and covers a room of up to 30 square metres and about twelve people. Coverage extends to around 70 square metres with the optional expansion microphones. It is a full SIP version 2 endpoint supporting UDP, TCP, TLS and SIPS signalling with RTP and SRTP media, and the G722, G711 A-law, G711 mu-law and G729ab codecs. Two SIP accounts can be configured and a local five way audio bridge is built in. The phone is powered over 802.3af PoE Class 3, or from an optional mains adapter.
