SP80 receiver in excellent condition — updated to firmware 3.49, 13 standard frequencies installed, usable as a base or a rover, supplied as a complete field kit with two new batteries.

Description

A complete RTK survey kit built around the Spectra Precision SP80 — a 240-channel receiver that tracks all six constellations through Spectra's patented Z-Blade engine, so it holds a fix under canopy and alongside buildings where GPS-only receivers drop out. The internal 410-470 MHz UHF transmit/receive radio (2 W) uses a patented inside-rod antenna, which means this unit runs as a local base station or as a rover with no external radio and nothing extra on the pole. The 13 standard frequencies are already installed.

Field control is a Trimble TSC3 running Survey Pro 6.8.1.7 with all four modules enabled — STD, Pro, GNSS and Robotics, the top-tier MAX configuration covering GNSS base and rover work, road layout, staking, DTM, COGO and full robotic total station control. The TSC3 also has the internal 2.4 GHz radio fitted.

The SP80 radio module covers 410-470 MHz as a TRx (transmit and receive) unit rated at 2 W — broadcast corrections as a base, or take them in as a rover.

Survey Pro MAX — All Four Modules Active

        Survey Pro is discontinued. Trimble officially discontinued Survey Pro in March 2023 — new licenses and modules can no longer be purchased from Trimble or Spectra. The only way to run it today is on a controller that already has active modules, and this TSC3 carries all four: STD, Pro, GNSS and Robotics.
