This listing is for the two carnival glass bowls that you see in the photos. They are not the same but I think that they are similar enough to be considered some kind of pair. I purchased them at estate sale in Oregon where I was not told their history. They are not marked. Some research tells me that they were very likely made by Fenton and that the pattern is called “peacock tail”. I am guessing that they are old enough to be considered vintage if not antique. I leave it to the buyer to decide how old they and who made them.

Both bowls are made with green glass. The largest diameter of the darker one measures close to 6 7/8 inches. The largest diameter of the lighter one measures close to 6 3/4 inches. Both bowls measure close to 3 inches high. The lighter one weighjs close to 7.4 ounces while the darker one weighs close to 7.2 ounces.

The condition is much like you see it in the photos. They are in excellent condition. I do not see any chips or cracks. There might be a very slight amount wear that I am not seeing. Close-ups show tiny factory flaws in the glass. The ones shown on the pattern might be wear. Otherwise, the bowls are fine and as shown.

I guarantee these bowls to be as described and represented by the 19 photos after the general description. The photos are part of the description. Please look at all of them.

   Please know that the lighting in my photos is uneven and that there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors. Different monitors may show different colors. I often say that an item measures or weighs “close to” because in my opinion no measurements are exact and some things are difficult to measure.

I frequently purchase signature delivery for my more valuable packages because of the possibility of them being stolen off of a porch or damaged by weather. I often but not always ship the same or the next day. Often, I have a double wall box custom made for larger items and that might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually biodegradable. Sometimes, I use used boxes.
