Stampless Cover. Dateline: 13 July 1859 Domestic cover from Lingayen (Pangasinan) addressed to Aguirre y Cia, Manila. Small Blue Manila Baeza (15 July 1859) receiving circular date stamp. It is more than likely a stamp is missing on this cover (may have come off) as all domestic mail (unless official usage) was to be charged postal rates from 1 February 1854 when the first adhesive stamps were issued. Despite faults, a very interesting cover.
