Description:
Turbinicarpus hybrids combine the compact, sculptural forms characteristic of the genus with considerable variation in body shape, tubercle structure, spination and flower colour. Individual plants may show traits inherited from different parent species, making mature specimens particularly interesting for collectors. Turbinicarpus hybrids remain small and typically develop a solitary or slowly clustering form.

Three golden rules of cultivation
- Light: Place the cacti on the most sunlit window sill, ideally facing South or West.
- Watering: Water thoroughly, but only after the soil in the pot has completely dried out.
- Soil: Plant them in a highly porous, well-draining substrate (a mix of soil with lava rock, pumice, and zeolite).
