Octavo. 119 pp. First edition, first printing. Signed and inscribed by Wolfe. In publisher's cloth with dust jacket. A fairly bright copy with minimal shelfwear; faint, even toning to the contents; dust jacket is chipped at the edges; front panel is nearly separated from the spine with early tape repair to the verso; nevertheless, it is largely complete.

A fairly early work by one of the most popular British authors of the 1920s. This copy with a wonderful, lengthy inscription on the front free endpaper in which Wolfe, at the bottom of which he writes: "Ministry of Labour" as he was a civil servant.
