This is the August 13, 1927 issue of the Dearborn Independent. It is a magazine of stories, features and editorials, some of which are still applicable to today and some of which reflect the attitudes of the time.
The magazine has been read and shows some discoloration but the colors are vibrant and the corners are still square but for its age. The black and white photographs and prints in this magazine are in excellent condition and are very clear.
This magazine has been donated to and is being sold by the Garden Grove Historical Society, a 501C(3) non-profit organization founded in April, 1966 and based in Garden Grove, California. We are funded solely through donations of money and sale of donated items; we receive no government funding. All net proceeds from the sale of this item go to the general fund of the Society for upkeep and general operating expenses of the Stanley Ranch Museum.
