Original 1925 official map of the Territory of Hawaii, published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, General Land Office — issued to accompany the Annual Report of the Governor, 1925.

The map covers the main Hawaiian Islands — Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, Kahoolawe and Hawaii — with detailed topographic contours in reddish-brown tones, county divisions (Kauai, Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii), and named channels between the islands. An inset shows the Hawaiian Archipelago with the Hawaiian Islands Bird Reservation, and a table gives distances from Honolulu to principal Pacific ports. Compiled from U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, U.S. Geological Survey, Hydrographic Office and Hawaiian Government surveys.

Measurements: approx. 34" x 23.7".

Condition: light age toning with the original fold grid (stored folded); small tears along the fold lines; a tear was repaired using archival tape. Please see photos.
