Resin BJD with one wig, her full outfit and her original box

Wendy was the event doll at the 2022 Modern Doll Collectors Convention. Her kraft box is printed "Macaron ENTERTAINMENT - Ball Jointed Doll," and the convention's own records list her as "Wendy, Darak Dolls Event Doll, MDCC 2022." I mention both names because collectors search for her under each.

HOW SHE LOOKS

A soft, round-cheeked sculpt with very large violet-blue eyes, painted lashes and a delicate blush. She wears a pink puff-sleeve top, a dark floral print skirt, white knee socks and blue-and-white lace-up sneakers.

WHAT COMES WITH HER

- The doll, with her original factory face-up and eyes installed

- Blonde wavy wig (worn)

- Pink puff-sleeve top, floral skirt, white knee socks, blue-and-white sneakers

- Pink Macaron drawstring pouch

- Original Macaron kraft box and packaging

CONDITION

She has been displayed in a cabinet and never played with. In her photographs the resin is clean and even in tone, with no cracks, chips or repairs visible, and her factory face-up is intact and unmarked. Her wig is in good order, and her original Macaron kraft box and drawstring pouch are included. I have not tested her stringing or examined her resin under daylight - if either matters to you, ask before you buy and I will check and photograph whatever you would like to see.

ABOUT THIS SALE

I am liquidating a personal doll collection built up over about twenty-five years, and everything I am listing comes from that collection. I am the original owner of most of it. These pieces have been stored and displayed, not played with, and they are being sold because it is time for them to go to people who will enjoy them rather than sit in boxes. I am not a dealer and I am not sourcing these from anywhere - this is one collector's shelves, being emptied.

PROVENANCE

Acquired at MDCC 2022 and in my collection ever since.

MORE FROM THIS COLLECTION

I am listing the whole collection over the coming weeks - artist BJDs, convention and limited edition dolls, and a large amount of doll clothing, shoes, wigs and accessories in sizes from 1:12 miniature up to 16-inch fashion dolls. Much of the clothing is handmade or custom-commissioned and is not available anywhere else.

Click "See other items" at the top of this listing to browse everything I currently have available - and please save me as a seller, since new pieces go up regularly.

SHIPPING & PACKING

She ships exactly as she came to me - nothing unwrapped or repacked - with her original box and packaging cushioned inside a sturdy outer shipping box, so the original box arrives clean and uncrushed rather than covered in shipping labels. Shipped USPS Priority Mail, insured for the full sale price, within 1-2 business days with tracking. From a smoke-free home.

Shipping is a flat $35. I am glad to combine shipping - if you are buying more than one item from me, wait for a combined invoice or ask me for one and I will adjust the total before you pay.

PLEASE ASK

I would far rather answer a question before you buy than have you be disappointed after. If you would like additional photographs of any detail - face-up, joints, resin colour in daylight, a maker's mark - just ask and I will take them.
