✅ DESCRIPTION

A classic Mitchell 400 High Speed fixed spool fishing reel, made in France, offered in very good preloved condition and full working order.

The Mitchell 400 is a well-built, high-quality vintage reel, renowned for its smooth performance and robust construction. Featuring a high-speed retrieve, it is ideal for float fishing, feeder fishing, spinning and general coarse angling.

Mechanically, the reel is in full working order with smooth gearing, positive bail arm operation and a smooth drag. Cosmetically, it presents very well for its age.

The only point to note is that a previous owner has etched letters and numbers onto the top of the reel foot, as shown in the photographs. This does not affect the operation of the reel in any way.
