Charming miniature Chinese cloisonné enamel snuff bottle/pendant, featuring a rich cobalt-blue ground decorated with pink and white blossoms, green leaves and traditional scrolling designs.
The decoration is created in the traditional cloisonné technique, with fine metal wires separating the individual colored enamel cells.
The bottle has an unusual flattened miniature form with two small metal suspension rings at the shoulders, suggesting it may have been designed to be worn or carried as a pendant.
The brass-colored base bears an impressed Chinese Qianlong-style mark. The mark is presented as an apocryphal/reign-style mark only; no claim is being made that this piece dates to the Qianlong period.
