✅ DESCRIPTION
A classic late 1980s / early 1990s Daiwa Auto 1657M fixed spool fishing reel, presented in very good preloved condition and full working order with spare spool 

Made in Japan, this quality reel features Daiwa's innovative Automatic Finger Dab bail arm system, allowing the bail arm to be tripped automatically during casting. It can also be locked in place using the sliding lock located on the reel body, giving the angler the option of manual operation if preferred.

Fitted with a smooth rear drag system, graphite body, ball bearing construction and a 5.2:1 gear ratio, this is a superb example of a classic Japanese-made Daiwa reel from one of the company's golden eras.

The reel operates exactly as it should and shows only light cosmetic signs of use consistent with its age.
