This is a 1st Press on the Parlophone label.
First mono pressing. August 6, 1965. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." printed at the start perimeter print and "Sold in U.K. subject.." text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined "Use Emitex" die-cut inner sleeve. Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated flipback cover, with outline "mono" on front cover.
We have play tested this: Plays good with clear audio. There are no clicks, skips, skating or repetitive skip playback, a little quiet background noise, this is mainly in the quieter parts, and between tracks, the odd quiet pop, however the audio is loud and clear. Was a pleasure to listen through to this one.
The condition of the vinyl is nice and glossy, and looks great, with just a few superficial scratches.
The cover looks good with just a few markings, corner blunting and wear, a number written on the back and some creasing also, but overall appears in good condition for a 1965 release.
Please see our images as this forms part of the description.
The record is stored in an Anti-Static sleeve, and housed in a 75 microns PP Crystal outer sleeve.
We do not clean vinyl.
All records are shipped outside their covers in their anti-static sleeve, to prevent tears and damage. We ship in specific vinyl cardboard mailers only, to give the correct protection in transit.
Thank You
